Residency Salary Stipend 2026-2027
PGY 1 - $70,120

Additional Annual Residency Stipends
- Benefit Stipend $3,800 – In addition to your salary stipend you will receive a benefit stipend to be paid annually over the 52 weeks. This stipend is to help off set your employee paid contributions to health, dental and vision insurance.
- Education Stipend – PGY 1 Step 3/COMLEX 3 +study materials paid for. PGY2-4 residents receive $2600 education stipend to be used on eligible purchases such as study materials, conferences and other reimbursable expenses. Neurology program pays for each resident to have; DeJong's The Neurologic Examination, Neuroanatomy through Clinical Cases, NeuroRedy Board Prep, and an American Academy of Neurology Membership.
- Meal Allowance – Residents receive a meal allowance for their TMC rotations. The money is loaded onto your badge twice a year to be used at Higher Grounds, Cafeteria and Canyon Commons. Amounts are determined based on TMC rotations and varies.
Residency Benefits
- Each academic year you will receive four weeks of vacation to be taken during a pre-approved time & 3 wellness days to be taken individually on approved rotations.
