The mission of the THMEP Pediatric Residency Program is to produce well-educated, community-minded pediatricians who deliver effective, high-value and compassionate care while promoting individual and societal wellness within our culturally diverse population.Our three-year program is designed to train outstanding primary care pediatricians. The program accepts four PGY-1 residents annually, with a full complement of 12 residents over three years from the initial cohort. Pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, neonatologists and pediatric emergency medicine physicians provide structured education and one-on-one clinical supervision within the hospital. Clinical faculty also includes office-based community pediatricians and multiple pediatric subspecialists, who provide education in the hospital and in the community.In addition to a flexible curriculum, residents have the ability to choose a number of elective rotations during the program, allowing for training that is unique to their career goals and educational needs.Spend time in our welcoming community and get support in creating an education that will best serve your path to become outstanding pediatric physician.
